Home: Welcome

My Work!

This site offers you a taste of my work, with the below sections giving you links to my film and wrestling work like writing the latest in mainstream film/TV news for Screen Rant. Reviewing the biggest and latest releases such as Knives Out and Fighting With My Family. Also, interviewing high profile entertainment personalities like director S. Craig Zahler, and WWE Superstar Aleister Black.

The site also gives an insight into my teaching background, where I specialise in providing SEN support/teaching students in creative fields like film, basics of script writing, and theatre in institutions like Italia Conti and Pauline Quirke Academy.

Plus, there will be fresh content on this site like my new blog focused on the mix of pro wrestling and film, called ‘Wrestling in Film', as well as my new short kids stories for all the families out there!

Teaching

Through my years as a teacher, I've been able to transfer my film degree and writing skills by teaching the basics of filmmaking, such as understanding script structure, basic camera angles, and even some film theory. I’ve also supported with the creation of student films from musicals, mockumentaries, and even behind the scenes filming of academy theatre productions. I’ve been able to showcase and develop these skills by working with students of a wide age range, while also successfully modifying lessons based on student ages, at the Pauline Quirke Academy (Windsor) and as an After School Filmmaking Teacher for the MN Academy. In addition to this, I’ve been able to work one on one with various SEN students at Knaphill School and Italia Conti, developing an understanding of how to work with and support them. From gaining on the job training by further understanding challenges like dyslexia, and successfully applying methods to engage younger students, while also creating ways for theatre students to understand essay structure using creative comparisons they can understand, like film narratives.
