"BANG," "CRASH," and "AAAHHHH!" were often the sounds heard when Angry Steve entered the town of 'Hearts-Full'. Angry Steve trusted no one, listened to no one, and took everything from everyone. That was his bottom line.
Every time he entered 'Hearts-Full' with his snarl and giant monster truck, he wreaked havoc and left a path of destruction in his trail.
But whenever somebody questioned or tried to stop him, he never uttered a word. Instead, all anyone would hear was "BANG," "CRASH," and "AAAHHHH!" again!
No one knew why Angry Steve was the way he was, but when a young Nova asked her Mum and Dad: "Why is Angry Steve so mean?"
They replied with the same answer everybody gave in 'Hearts-Full': "He's cold. Stone cold."
"But why?" Nova asked.
"He was born without a heart," Nova's parents replied.
Nova couldn't believe it. "Everybody has a heart," she thought.
The next day, it was Christmas. The people of 'Hearts-Full' were hugging, laughing, and exchanging gifts. However, young Nova could not give her gift away because she bought a gift for... Angry Steve!
She wandered outside in the snow as the only person hoping to see Angry Steve, and soon, chaos arrived. Only this time, it was not Angry Steve.
Three wicked thieves took Nova's gift, and they took Nova too! Everyone in 'Hearts-Full' panicked, but before the three thieves could escape, a giant monster truck charged towards them.
Everyone in 'Hearts-Full' then heard three very familiar sounds: "BANG," "CRASH," and "AAAHHH!"
But they then saw an unfamiliar sight, because instead of taking anything, Angry Steve saved young Nova and brought her back home.
Before he could go, Nova asked Angry Steve, who was still snarling, “Can I wish you a Merry Christmas?"
He stopped and nodded.
Nova finally gave him his present and wished him a "Merry Christmas." Unbelievably, Angry Steve’s snarl turned into a smile.
Angry Steve had trusted her, listened to her... but he still took what he wanted, which was his present and a big hug from young Nova.
On that Christmas day, the town of 'Hearts-Full' found out what Nova knew all along: "Everybody has a heart ♥."
